Please read these carefully before making your booking:
Arrival and departure days: Mondays and Fridays – check in is from 3pm and check out by 10am on the day of departure.
We ask that wellies and outdoor shoes are not worn in the yurts
Please be respectful of the shared areas: showers, toilets and kitchen by cleaning up after yourselves and allowing for others also using the facilities.
Booking: A non-refundable deposit of 25% will be taken with the booking. The remainder of the balance is to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. We will send you a reminder. If the balance of the booking is not received, we reserve the right to re-let the Yurt/Bell Tent.
In the event of cancellation: ·
The 25% deposit is non-refundable. We will do our best to re-let your yurt and if we are able to do so, we will refund you the balance of your payment, less the deposit and a £50 admin fee.
Unfortunately if we are unable to re-let your booking, the balance will not be refunded.
If we are able to move your booking to a date later in the season and re-let your original booking, we will do so.
We recommend you take holiday cancellation insurance to cover any loss should we not be able to re-let.
If you cancel before 6 weeks of the holiday and we are unable to re-let, your deposit is non-refundable.
Green Valley Yurts are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
Damage: We do expect a reasonable amount of wear and tear to the campsite. However we will expect our guests to pay for damages should they be caused by negligence or abusive behaviour. We don’t wish to charge a damage deposit, but by booking, you agree that we have the right, either during your stay or after, to recover from the credit/debit card you have used to pay for your stay any damages or costs as below:
Any property or accommodation damage and/or any compensation we may have to pay others, and/or any other costs, fees or levies which we may incur.
Number of guests per property: The maximum number of guests permitted in each Yurt must not exceed the number stated on the booking form. The proprietor reserves the right to decline accommodation and to order any unauthorised person off the premises.
Pets: Unfortunately no pets are allowed on the campsite. Please let us know if you would like the name of local kennels.
Noise/Disturbance: The campsite is located in a peaceful valley and we ask our guests not to use any amplified music equipments; eg radios, ipods with speakers etc. Behaviour should be in keeping with the family environment and should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night. We ask that there is no disruptive noise for your fellow campers after 11pm at night.
Group bookings: We invite group bookings and ask you to inform us of this when you are making your booking. We are a family campsite and unfortunately we are unable to accept group bookings for Hen/Stag parties.
Fire wood: We will provide our guests with a reasonable amount of firewood for their stay on arrival. Should you like logs for your campfire or extra logs for the wood stoves they are available at a cost of £5 per bag.
All Yurts and buildings are non smoking properties.
Green Valley Yurts are not liable for loss or damage to guests' property or any injury to themselves or dependents during their stay. Parents should be responsible for their children at all times. Please refer to our safety information regarding your stay. Lock your vehicle securely and remove all valuable items on parking.
In the unlikely event of completely inappropriate/dangerous/illegal behaviour we reserve the right to ask guests to leave immediately and refunds and compensations will not be given.
